Roberto Finesi appointed Chief Executive officer of Ceramica Catalano

A planned transition ensuring full management continuity at the helm of Ceramica Catalano: Roberto Finesi, who led Catalano’s strong growth in 2024 and 2025, has been appointed the company’s new CEO, as it targets further significant growth in turnover in the current year, 2026. Dimitri Mei, the former CEO of Ceramica Cielo and Galassia, will continue to contribute to the development of Ceramica Catalano as an advisor, while retaining his role as CEO of the company’s shareholder, Italian Bathroom Design Group (“IBD”).
IBD is the holding company of Mittel Group, which leads Italy’s foremost bathroom design group, specialising in the production and marketing of high-quality sanitary ceramics. IBD operates through four companies: Ceramica Cielo, Ceramica Catalano, Ceramica Galassia and Disegno Ceramica.
