Torre Velasca

Built between 1956 and 1958, Torre Velasca is an architectural icon of Milan, now protected as a monument by the Superintendence. Since 2020 it has been the focus of a major restoration and redevelopment project by Hines and Asti Architetti, with a design that enhances its historical identity by combining it with the highest standards of sustainability. The façades have been restored to their original colour, the interiors restored respecting 1950s design, with historical elements recovered and reinterpreted. The project, LEED certified and WiredScore Gold, also includes a new square and a lighting concept celebrating the building as a symbol of Milan looking to the future.
